The eight-game Big Ten schedule was announced Saturday morning, and the Gophers will open the abbreviated, late-starting season at TCF Bank Stadium against the Michigan Wolverines on Oct. 24.
The full Minnesota schedule:

The Big Ten Championship Game is scheduled to be played between the winners of the West and East divisions on Dec. 19.
In the AP Top 25 Poll released in the preseason, Ohio State (#2) and Penn State (#7) were the highest-ranked Big Ten teams, followed by Wisconsin (#12), Michigan (#16), Minnesota (#19) and Iowa (#24).
Meanwhile, the Gophers are waiting for the NCAA to make a ruling regarding the eligibility of All-Big Ten wide receiver Rashod Bateman, who wants to play this season after initially opting out due to concerns about the COVID-19 situation.
Bateman opted out Aug. 4, one week before the Big Ten announced that all fall sports were postponed. The postponement of football, however, was reversed this week.
Bateman hired an agent and declared for the NFL Draft.
