Herrera only big name on injury report

Coming off the bye week the Vikings are looking as healthy as they have all season. The team issued its Thursday injury report, and it was basically a blank sheet of paper. The only names on the list were Chris Cook, Antoine Winfield, and Anthony Herrera. Cook is suspended, Winfield will play, and Herrera's injured knee kept him out of practice.

The Minnesota Vikings roster is almost entirely healthy heading into Monday night's match-up against the Packers. Right guard Anthony Herrera is the only player listed as out on the injury report. The good news is that Antoine Winfield is playing for sure and Percy Harvin's ribs are close to 100-percent.

Vikings Wednesday injury report

The Vikings remain mostly healthy outside of the obvious season-ending injury to Antoine Winfield. The only other big names on Wednesday's injury report were Anthony Herrera and Erin Henderson. Herrera is still bothered by a knee injury while Henderson has an issue with a hamstring.

Herrera: 'We will be ready'

Anthony Herrera is still fired up over the Vikings' failed fourth-and-one attempt last week against Detroit. The right guard says offensive lineman "salivate" for opportunities like that but they failed to get the job done. He says the offensive line "will be ready" the next time that situation presents itself.

Playoffs? Only if Vikes run table -- maybe

The Vikings are just 2-6 going into the bye week, and Coach Leslie Frazier says his team basically can’t lose again if they want to think about playing “meaningful games” in December. He told reporters that beating Carolina yesterday was the first step in getting there -- calling the 24-21 victory “extremely, extremely” important.
