Aaron Hicks hit a lead off homer but the Twins lost to Puerto Rico's World Baseball Classic team in an exhibition game, 8-7 on Wednesday.

Puerto Rico is gearing up for the WBC, which is already underway. Minnesota played without Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau, who are playing for Team USA and Team Canada.

Twins prospects Eddie Rosario and J.O. Berrios play for Puerto Rico. Rosario went 1-3 with a single and Berrios pitched a scoreless inning in relief. The 18-year-old was clocked at 93 mph on the radar gun.
