First, the new Bring Me The News sports podcast now has a name. We're going with the "High 'Opes" podcast. It's a play on "high hopes" for Minnesota sports teams and one of the most popular words in Minnesota's dictionary: 'ope.

It'll catch on, eventually. Probably. Maybe. We hope.

In episode 2 of the show, Declan Goff and Joe Nelson break down the best playoff opponent for the Vikings. Is it better to open wild-card weekend in Green Bay, New Orleans or Seattle?

Plus, what is Dalvin Cook's future in Minnesota? He's one of the best running backs in the league when healthy, but he's due to become a free agent after the 2020 season. Should the Vikings pay him big money this offseason? It might mean cutting ties with Everson Griffen (team option) or eating some dead money by cutting Xavier Rhodes.

The High 'Opes podcast will soon be available to subscribe to wherever you get your podcasts (iTunes, Spotify, Google, etc.).
