Cool temperatures, cloudy skies and occasional showers made for football-like weather across Minnesota on Friday, and the day culminated with eight high school season openers. 

Zero Week scoreboard:

There is one more Zero Week game Saturday featuring Eveleth-Gilbert versus Academy Force, then the entire state kicks off with Week 1 action next Thursday and Friday. 

According to MNFootballHub, there are 77 games next Thursday (Aug. 30) followed by a bunch more on Friday. But the first official full Friday slate will be Sep. 7 when 176 games across the state will be played.
