With two weekends to go in the WCHA regular season, St. Cloud State will try to hold on and win its first conference title.

The Huskies are atop the league with 33 points, two points ahead of the Gophers.

Tonight, Michigan Tech is at St. Cloud and Minnesota hosts Denver at Mariucci Arena.

Next weekend, Minnesota travels to Bemidji State and St. Cloud state travels to Wisconsin to finish the regular season.

The Huskies have yet to win the McNaughton Cup, and this is their last season in the WCHA.

MSU Mankato, which has a strong chance of making the NCAA hockey tournament, is basically out of the race for the regular season title. The Mavericks are four points behind St. Cloud, with four games to go (Colorado College, North Dakota).
