Huskies' hockey hair? Championship quality

"We're not a pretty group ... but a great group."

That, from coach Bob Motzko, whose St. Cloud State Huskies face Quinnipiac tonight in the NCAA Frozen Four in Pittsburgh.

In a preview story, KARE-TV's Dave Schwartz focused on how Nick Dowd, Ben Hanowski and Nick Jensen are growing out their hair for charity -- and won't see a barber until the season is over.

The Huskies hope that won't be until Sunday morning at the earliest.

A win tonight, and St. Cloud faces the winner of UMass-Lowell and Yale on Saturday for the Division 1 hockey championship.

Lowell and Yale are on the ice today at 3:30 p.m., with the St. Cloud-Quinnipiac game at 7 p.m. -- with both games on ESPN-2.
