In 'non-traditional' move, Lindsey Vonn proposes to boyfriend P.K. Subban

The Minnesota skiing star is engaged to NHL player P.K. Subban.

Minnesota's Lindsey Vonn is engaged to boyfriend P.K. Subban.

The skiing star revealed her engagement on social media on Christmas Day, saying she popped the question in a "non traditional move."

The St. Paul native has been dating Subban, who plays for the New Jersey Devils, for the past two years.

Vonn, 35, has recently retired from professional skiing, during which she became the most successful women's skier in history with 82 World Cup race victories and three Olympic medals.

"I asked PK to marry me and he said, Yes!" she tweeted. "Women aren’t the only ones who should get engagement rings!"
