The Minnesota Vikings' injury report isn't as long as it was before last week's game against Washington, but on Friday the team's best player -- Adrian Peterson -- was was simply watching the portion of practice made available to the media.

The good news comes via A.J. Mansour, with the expectation for Peterson on Sunday against the Seahawks.

Outside of Peterson and Guion, the rest of the injury news is positive. The Pioneer Press reports that as many as seven or eight players that missed last week's game could play on Sunday.

Cornerback Chris Cook, safety Jamarca Sanford, tackle Phil Loadholt, guard Charlie Johnson, tight end Rhett Ellison and running back Matt Asiata will all likely be ready to play.

Head coach Leslie Frazier noted that defensive tackle Fred Evans "gave it a try" in practice on Thursday, but his status for Sunday is still up in the air.
