Boston Bruins 4

The Minnesota Wild dropped their third straight game Thursday night, falling to the Boston Bruins 4-2 in Boston.

1. Hats off for Erikkson

It was a big night for Bruins forward Loui Erikkson. He had a pair of goals in the second period and then netted the clinching goal in the third to put it away.

The goals were Erikkson's 7th, 8th, 9th of the season. It's the first hat trick of the season scored against the Wild.

2. Another early deficit on the road

The Wild built themselves another early deficit on the road. Just 5:30 minutes into the game Brad Marchand put the Bruins on the scoreboard with his wraparound goal – his seventh goal of the season. It's the ninth time in Minnesota's last 10 road games that they've given up the first goal.

After the Wild tied it up at 1, Boston scored twice more in the second to push their lead to 3-1.

3. Concern for Zucker

An already thin Wild squad has another injury to worry about. Jason Zucker, who had one of Minnesota's two goals in the game, was injured at the end of the game on a shot to the knee as time expired.
