Iowa tops Gophers women's basketball 92-76 in last regular season game

The No. 17 Iowa Hawkeyes secured the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten tournament after beating Minnesota women's basketball team 92 - 76 at home Sunday. Iowa's Melissa Dixon put up 27 points, and two others posted triple-doubles, Gopher Sports reports.

In the last regular game of the season, Gopher Shae Kelly had more points, however, scoring 29 points and earning 12 rebounds. Amanda Zahui B. also had a double-double with 22 points, 21 rebounds and seven blocks.

The Gophers finished the season 22-8 overall and 11-7 in Big Ten play.

On Sunday evening, the Big Ten will release the tournament schedule.
