But don't worry – the Vikings had a backup, and brought in their Gjallarhorn from the 2009 season.

The Vikings say the older Gjallarhorn is 1-0 in the playoffs, noting former Vikings quarterback Joe Kapp sounded the horn before the Jan. 17, 2009, game.
Rhett Ellison, tight end for the Vikings, sounded the Gjallarhorn before Sunday's game. He suffered a season-ending injury against Green Bay last week.
Coldest game in franchise history
This is the first outdoor playoff game in Minnesota since 1976, and it will go down in history as one of the coldest NFL games every played.

The coldest games on record, per NFL.com:
- 13-below zero: 1967 NFL Championship, Packers and Cowboys
- 9-below zero: 1981 AFC Championship, Bengals and Chargers
- 1-below zero: 2007 NFC Championship, Giants and Packers
It is so cold Sunday that Ticketmaster warned fans to print out their tickets in case their phones stopped working, ESPN reports.
The cold never bothered Bud Grant anyway
But the cold didn't bother former Vikings coach Bud Grant.
The 88-year-old, who was the team's honorary captain Sunday, wore short sleeves out on the field for the coin toss, Vikings PR tweeted.
