Ex-Twin Jim Thome is back in town. Last month he came here as a member of the Phillies, but since then he’s been traded to Baltimore. His Orioles are in town for four against the reeling Twins, who have lost five straight.

Thome, who was traded by the Twins to the Cleveland Indians about a year ago before ending up with Philadelphia, was traded by the Phillies Saturday to the Baltimore Orioles for two minor leaguers.
