Jennings thinks he could play in the NBA

A day after saying he regrets the things he said about the Packers and Aaron Rodgers over the summer, Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings is firing back with something just as interesting today.

"I feel like I can play a game in the NBA,'' Jennings told the Pioneer Press. "I played ball my entire life. It's a different game, but, if you put your mind to it ... That doesn't mean I can be a superstar for one game, but I can get it done for sure.''

"It's all about his mind-set,'' Jennings said. "I'm a firm believer you can do anything you can put your mind to. If he feels like he can do it, he can do it. ... I haven't seen him play (football), I've seen him play basketball. But I just know he's a gifted athlete.''

Has Jennings been drug tested by the NFL recently? If not, the league might want to put a rush on that order.

Facts are facts, and the fact that the Timberwolves -- who were in desperate need of a shooting guard -- didn't call Jennings to play last season is enough for us to believe Jennings is a bit overconfident.

Meanwhile, Jim Souhan of the Star Tribune finds it interesting that the Vikings got worse after adding Jennings, while across the border the Packers haven't lost a step after losing Jennings.
