Longtime Vikings followers may miss the voice of Jim Klobuchar, the longtime Star-Tribune writer who chronicled the Purple People Eater's finest days.

Klobuchar, however, still writes about the team, in a weekly column for MinnPost. In our opinion, it's some of the best stuff out there about your favorite football team.

His column is usually posted on the day after the game. Today's deals with Adrian Peterson, and his 61-yard touchdown run, which ended with a "high-stepping finish ... and announcement of simple exuberance."
