Karl-Anthony Towns suffered an injury to his right knee in the waning seconds of the fourth quarter during Saturday night's Wolves-Wizards game in Washington, D.C.

Towns appeared to be a lot of pain and was taken to the locker room after Bradley Beal hit a game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime.

The Wolves announced that Towns would not return to the game because of the injury.

Towns had 40 points and 16 rebounds before he was taken back to the locker room. It's worth noting that he walked to the locker room under his own power.

The Wolves were leading 129-127 with 34 seconds left in overtime at the time this story was published.

This is a developing story.
