Booze flowed to the tune of 22 arrests at Lambeau Field Chesney concert

Lambeau Field wasn't the home of the Green Bay Packers on Saturday; instead, it was the home for a lot of drunken behavior at a Kenny Chesney-Jason Aldean concert.

According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, 22 people were arrested during the concert and each violation was alcohol-related.

Additionally, 50 to 60 people needed medical attention after drinking too much, officials said. WBAY reports that 120 others were kicked out of the stadium.

In comparison, Packers-Bears games at Lambeau typically result in 40 booze-related kerfuffles while the average Packer game has about 20, the paper notes.

Chesney's first show at Lambeau was in 2011. The result of that concert was damage to the turf, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The beer seems to flow like water at country music shows lately, with the Rolling Stone observing that 2014 was the "Summer of Lush" concerts. It notes that a Luke Bryan show in Pittsburgh at Heinz Field, the home of the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers, resulted in dozens of arrests and more than 100 calls to 911.

Bryan played in front of a packed house at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Saturday. A university police spokesman told BringMeTheNews that two arrests were made during the concert, one of which was related to alcohol.

At the end of the day, don't blame Wisconsin. The stadium, as shown in the top middle photo of the tweet below, had a large sign that we assume says "drink responsibly."
