Life-changing year for Jack Jablonski, family launches new foundation
It was one year ago Sunday, Dec. 30, when Benilde-St. Margaret’s hockey player Jack Jablonski suffered a spinal cord injury that would instantly change his life. “I think everything happens for a reason, and unfortunately this has happened,” Jack told WCCO. “I’ve come a long ways since then and what I was expected to be able to get back."

Tens of thousands of supporters have rallied behind Jack over the past year. They've inspired him and his family to create the Jack Jablonski -- Believe In Miracles Foundation. "We've been extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to have the resources that we've had because of what people have to done for us and it's only natural to make that possible for other people in this situation," Jack's mom, Leslie Jablonski told KSTP.
Earlier this month, Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson told the Pioneer Press that Jack Jablonski has inspired him as he recovers from last year's season-ending knee injury.
