Look who's giving the Eagles a Super Bowl pep talk

Why does it seem that those we're supposed to like turn out to be fans of the Philadelphia Eagles?

First it was Pink, and now Brett Favre. 

According to Eagles head coach Doug Pederson, Favre will be in town Saturday to meet with Eagles players at the team hotel. That's casual talk for "Favre is probably going to deliver an epic pep talk" to the team that destroyed the Vikings in the NFC Championship game. 

Let's at least hope Favre's speech includes a "pants on the ground" moment. 

Instead of sounding like a jealous, bitter fan, we'll admit that this actually makes a lot of sense because Favre was teammates in Green Bay (ugh) with Pederson from 1996-98 and again from 2001-04.

He also has experience of winning the big one, leading the Packers (ugh) to Super Bowl glory in the 1996-97 season.

As for Pink, even though she's an Eagles fan, we still hope she crushes the national anthem on Sunday.
