The Minnesota Lynx are back in the WNBA Finals for the fifth time in the last six years after sweeping the Phoenix Mercury out of the semifinals.

Minnesota cruised to a 82-67 win Sunday afternoon in Phoenix, capping off a three-game sweep in the best-of-five playoff series.

The Lynx are the only team in WNBA history to make five Finals appearances in a six-year span.

Sunday's series clincher was close for two quarters before the Lynx erupted in the second half. Minnesota trailed by 5 points after one quarter before outscoring the Mercury by 20 points the rest of the way.

Maya Moore led the Lynx with 20 points.

Game 1 of the Finals is Sunday, Oct. 9. Minnesota will play either Los Angeles or Chicago. L.A. leads that best-of-five series 2-1 with Game 4 coming Tuesday.
