Minnesota Lynx forward Maya Moore made history Saturday night at Target Center as the Lynx defeated the New York Liberty 87-82, the Star Tribune reports.

Moore became the first player in WNBA history to score 30 or more points in four straight games. She has now reached that mark in all four games so far this season, helping the Lynx to a 4-0 record, according to the Star Tribune.

Moore made 4 of 5 three-point attempts in the first quarter. She scored her final record-breaking basket with just over three minutes left in the game, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Moore and teammate Seimone Augustus collided and knocked heads at the end of the first quarter as they both went after a loose ball. They both returned to the game shortly after, although Moore had a large bump on her forehead and a cut that needed to be bandaged, according to the Pioneer Press.

Lindsay Whalen scored 21 points for the Lynx, including two free throws in the final seconds to ice the victory. Seimone Augustus had 18.

New York was led by center Tina Charles, who had 24 points.

The Lynx play next on Monday against the Chicago Sky in Chicago. Tipoff is 2:30 p.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN 2.
