Lynx fall to Sparks, 96-90

It's a rare two-game losing streak for the WNBA champion Lynx, as they fall to 13-3 on the season.

LOS ANGELES -- The Minnesota Lynx lost their second consecutive game for the first time this season, falling to Los Angeles, 96-90. The Sparks' Kristi Toliver led all scorers with 29 points, with L.A.'s Candace Parker adding 28.

Seimone Augustus led the Lynx with 18 points, as the Sparks held off a fourth quarter rally by the Lynx. Minnesota outscored Los Angeles 33-21 in the final frame.

With the loss, Minnesota falls to 13-3, as the Sparks climb to 2.5 games back of the first-place Lynx in the WNBA's Western Conference standings.

The defending WBNBA champs - The Minnesota Lynx - was blown out in L.A. last night. The Sparks romped Minnesota by a score of, 92-76. Candace Park led the Sparks with 22 points. Monica Wright led Minnesota with 19.
