Lynx fall to Washington Mystics 77-69 on the road
The Washington Mystics took down the conference-leading Lynx Sunday 77-69, snapping Minnesota's three-game winning streak.
The Mystics shot 40 percent on both field goals and 3-pointers, compared to the Lynx hitting about 38 percent and 44 percent respectively.
Sylvia Fowles scored 15 points to lead Minnesota. Lindsay Whalen had 13, and Maya Moore scored 12 points, falling short of her 21.5 point average per game, the Associated Press reports.
The Lynx have another chance against the Mystics Wednesday at Target Center. Game starts at 7 p.m.
