Lynx finalize regular season roster

The Minnesota Lyxn are ready for the regular season after finalizing their roster Thursday.

After cutting guards Jackie Gemelos and Jeneesa Jeffrey on Wednesday, the Lynx trimmed the roster to 11 players by waiving rookie free agent forward Shawnice Williams on Thursday.

Williams was competing with 2013 draft pick Sugar Rodgers, who was the 11th and final player kept on the roster.

Minnesota's roster will look like it does below when they open the season June 1 at Target Center against Connecticut.

Guard: Seimone Augustus, Lindsay Whalen, Lindsey Moore, Sugar Rodgers, Monica Wright
Forward: Rebekkah Brunson, Amber Harris, Rachel Jarry, Maya Moore, Devereaux Peters
Center: Janelle McCarville
