The Minnesota Lynx closed out their regular season with a 95-87 win over the Atlanta Dream on Saturday night. The victory gives the defending WNBA champions 28 wins on the season which is a new franchise record.

Sylvia Fowles had a game-high 30 points and 8 rebounds. Maya Moore added 21 and both Natasha Howard and Seimone Augustus were also in double figures for Minnesota with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Minnesota has already clinched home-court advantage throughout the WNBA playoffs which begin Sept. 28. However the Lynx will not be playing their first playoff series at the Target Center.

Earlier this month, the Lynx announced they have to play their first two home playoff games at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul due to scheduling conflicts.

The Lynx has a bye through the single-elimination round but will host the semifinal round which is a best-of-five series. If they advance to the WNBA Finals for the 4th time in the last six years, the games will be back at Target Center.

However the Lynx will play all their 2017 regular-season games in St. Paul due to the renovations at the Target Center.
