Minnesota Lynx 98

Dallas Wings 97

The Lynx crushed the Wings twice already this season, winning by an average of 27 points.

That's why it was surprising when the two teams went into overtime on Sunday afternoon. The Lynx were up by 13 points in the fourth quarter, and then the Wings came back – pushing the game into overtime.

The Lynx won by just one point. It was the first time that MN has won in OT this season.

It was Seimone Augustus who made the winning basket with less than 16 seconds left on the clock. Augustus also hit a career milestone at Sunday's game. She has now scored more than 5,000 points in her decade long career.

Maya Moore put up the most points for the Lynx on Sunday – 20 in total in addition to six assists. But she isn't the only one who shot a good game. National spotlight

The team has recently drawn attention from around the country after wearing special warm-up shirts before their last home game that mentioned Black Lives Matter. The controversial shirts prompted four police officers who were working security to walk out of the Target Center.

The activist group applauded the women's move, and encouraged fans to attend Friday's game which they also won in front of a nearly full house.

Sunday was the Wing's first home game since the shooting of the Dallas police officers on July 7. Players wore warm ups with words "Dallas Strong."
