Lynx slip past Shock, 83-74

The Minnesota Lynx (4-1) topped the Tulsa Shock, 83-74 Friday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Rebekkah Brunson continued her hot start to the season with a 19 point, 13 rebound performance.

The balanced offensive attack of the Lynx shot an impressive 50-percent (36-72) from the floor, and held the Shock to just 38-percent shooting (27-71).

Also scoring in double-figures for the Lynx were Lindsay Whalen (17), Seimone Augustus (11) and Maya Moore (10).

Former Lynx sharpshooter Candice Wiggins scored 18 points for the Shock. She made 2-of-3 three-point field goals.

The two-time defending Western Conference champion Lynx are on pace to finish with the best record in the West for a third consecutive season.
