Lynx star Maya Moore is on a giant Jordan Brand billboard in downtown Minneapolis

Moore posed the same way Michael Jordan did in a famous Nike poster.

The Minnesota Lynx begin their defense of the WNBA title with their season opener Sunday afternoon against the Los Angeles Sparks, and with it comes a marquee billboard in downtown Minneapolis

Lynx star Maya Moore is featured on the Jordan Brand billboard in the same wingspan pose Michael Jordan made famous in the early 1990s.

And like the Jordan poster, Moore's billboard includes an adaptation of the William Blake quote, "No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings," only "she" and "her" are in place of "he" and "his."

Moore became the first woman to join Jordan Brand after her historic college career at the University of Connecticut concluded in 2011.
