In a game that left the Lynx stunned, according to one report, the Mystics handed Minnesota its first loss of the young WNBA season in Washington Saturday night, 85-8o.

Ivory Latta scored 17 of her 24 points in the second half and Monique Currie had 23, according to CBS Minnesota, as the Mystics fended off a Minnesota fourth quarter rally to go 3-1 for the season.

As the Associated Press reports, Washington had only won five games last season and has now won consecutive games for the first time since 2010.

The Lynx (2-1), on the other hand, won their first two games this season by a combined 36 points, trailing for a total of 32 seconds in the victories, but never led during the final three quarters against Washington, says the AP.

The Mystics led after each of the first three quarters and took a 67-58 advantage into the fourth. However, Minnesota used a 10-1 run to tie the score at 68, according to the AP, but Maya Moore fouled out 1:33 at a crucial juncture that put the Mystic up for good, 75-73.

Moore scored 28 points and Rebekkah Brunson had 21 points and 17 rebounds for the Lynx. Seimone Augustus also scored 21 for Minnesota, which had won four straight over the Mystics.
