After taking care of business in a clean sweep of the Phoenix Mercury to advance to the WNBA Finals, the Minnesota Lynx were able to sit back and wait to see who they would face in the championship series.

Their opponent was decided Tuesday night as the Indiana Fever defeated the New York Liberty, 66-51, in the deciding Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Game 1 of the best-of-five WNBA Finals will be Sunday at Target Center in Minneapolis.

"Nobody thought we'd win the first series," Fever star player Tamika Catchings said, via WNBA.com. "No one thought we'd win this round. No one thinks we'll win the finals. We're not done yet."

Minnesota and Indiana met in the 2012 Finals with the Lynx being upset by the underdog Fever in four games.

Had the Liberty advanced to the Finals, it would have been an opportunity for former Lynx sharpshooter Candace Wiggins to face her former team.

Minnesota won both of its games against Indiana in the regular season, most recently, a Sept. 4 home victory by 16 points in which all five Lynx starters scored in double figures.
