What more can we expect from Maya Moore? The reigning MVP in the WNBA scored a record 30 points to lead the West to a 117-112 win over the East All-Stars Saturday afternoon in Uncasville, Connecticut, and was named the most valuable player of the game.

Moore's 30 points is the most ever by a player in an all-star game. She also had six rebounds and five assists.

"It was a blast of a game. Those are moments that are fun for us," said Moore, according to the Associated Press.

It was a homecoming for sorts for Moore, who was a star at UConn in college and led the Huskies to two national championships.

The West team was down 106-105 when Moore kicked into high gear, the Hartford Courant reports. She scored eight straight points in the final two minutes of the game to give the West a 113-106 lead. After the East narrowed the gap again, Moore nailed a 3-pointer to seal the victory, the Associated Press reports.

Moore's Lynx teammate Seimone Augustus was supposed to start in the game, but sat out because she's still recovering from knee surgery. Lindsey Whalen was named a reserve, but also sat out due to injury, Sporting News reports.
