The Donovan McNabb era is officially over in Minnesota. Coach Leslie Frazier says the Vikings put McNabb on waivers today, calling it "best for both parties." The move allows the veteran to sign with another team if they're willing to pick up the remaining portion of his $5 million salary. Frazier called McNabb "a class guy" and said he wouldn't have done anything differently in bringing McNabb in this year.
Kluwe still waiting for McNabb to pay up
Donovan McNabb still owes Vikings' punter Chris Kluwe a $5,000 donation to Kluwe's charity, Kick For A Cure. McNabb made a deal to wear the No. 5 jersey, which Kluwe owned before the start of the season.
