Michele Tafoya joining the Tom Barnard morning show

Award-winning sports reporter and Minnesota native Michele Tafoya has joined Tom Barnard as a co-host on the KQRS morning show.

"I’m excited to be spending more time with Tom and his cadre of pals," Tafoya said in a statement. "We’ve developed great camaraderie over the past couple of years. Radio is such a fun, free-flowing platform where we can talk about anything at all, and Tom makes it easy."

Tafoya has been on the morning show with Barnard since Tuesday. This Sunday night you'll still be able to catch her reporting from the sidelines on NBC's Sunday Night Football.

Tafoya hosted an afternoon drive show on WCCO for three years before getting out of radio in 2012.
