Minnesota Football Showcase postponed due to COVID-19
The Minnesota Football Showcase, which has featured the top high school players in the state, has officially been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The game has been played after the completion of the high school season since its inception in 1945 and became an annual event in 1974. In recent years, the game has been played at U.S. Bank Stadium as the Minnesota Football Coaches Association's (MFCA) All-Star Game.
According to a press release, 4,600 players and 489 coaches have taken part in the game over the years including current Minnesota Vikings players Adam Thielen (2008) and C.J. Ham (2011).
The MCFA announced that this year's game will be moved to June 2021 and the exact date and location will be announced at a later date.
