Minnesota runners take first place titles in Fargo Marathon
Out of 2,000 participants that took off from the starting line Saturday morning, two Minnesotans are taking home titles in the ninth annual Fargo Marathon.
The Associated Press reports Chris Erichsen of Minneapolis crossed the finish line in 2:20:42 seconds to win the men's title. Erichsen also won the race in 2012 with a course record of 2:19.55.
Nicole Porath of Northfield won the women's title in 2:50:49.
