Minnesota State, North Dakota, Colorado College reach Final Five

The first round of the WCHA Playoffs are complete after Minnesota State, North Dakota and Colorado College advanced to the WCHA Final Five with game three wins Sunday night.

Minnesota State topped Nebraska Omaha, 3-1, North Dakota crushed Michigan Tech, 6-0 and Colorado College upset Denver, 4-3.

Two play-in games will be played Thursday for the right play St. Cloud State or Minnesota in the Final Five semifinals on Friday. Minnesota State will play Wisconsin at 2:00 p.m. and Colorado College will face North Dakota at 7:00 p.m.

All Final Five games are played at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
