What has big round tires, loud engines, a lot of dirt, some old smashed up cars and monstrous trucks? Here's another hint, it hasn't been in Minneapolis in three years.

Monster truck fans can rejoice, because Monster Jam is making its return to Minneapolis this winter.

In an e-mail to BringMeTheNews, the organization says its giant monster truck show will debut inside U.S. Bank Stadium on Dec. 10.

It's the first time in three years that Monster Jam will make a stop in Minneapolis.

More than 7,500 tons of dirt will be dropped onto the floor at U.S. Bank Stadium for the event, which will feature trucks racing, jumping and doing stunts very similar to this.

The sport's winningest competitor, Tom Meents, with 11 World Championships will meet fans on Saturday and Sunday during the U.S. Bank Open House.

It will be hard to miss Meents, he'll be alongside a giant inflatable monster truck on the U.S. Bank Plaza to promote the event.

Tickets for Monster Jam go on sale Sept. 27.
