Maya Moore has another award to add to her growing collection of them.

The WNBA named Moore the Western Conference Player of the Month for May. It is the third straight time Moore has won the award, she was also named the Western Conference Player of the Month in August and September of last season.

According to the Star Tribune, it's the sixth time a Lynx player has won player of the month honors. Lindsay Whalen, Seimone Augustus and Rebekkah Brunson won the awards in back-to-back-to-back months in 2011.

Moore has had quite the start to the 2014 season. She was named the Western Conference Player of the Week, after opening the season with four straight 30 point games.

During that stretch, Moore put up a career-high 38 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead the Lynx over Tulsa.

She is leading the league in scoring (27.6), and three-pointers made (20). Moore is also ninth in rebounding (8.9) and 12th in field goal percentage (51.5).

According to Slam Magazine, slow starts have cost Moore the WNBA MVP award the past two seasons. That won't be the case this year.

Moore's efforts have led the Lynx to a 7-0 start.
