Maya Moore may have been beaten out by Los Angeles Sparks star Candace Parker for the WNBA MVP, but Moore's team is still playing. So there.

Coming in second in MVP voting also didn't stop Moore from claiming a spot on the WNBA First Team today, along with teammate Lindsey Whalen.

Moore ranked third in the WNBA in scoring this year, while leading the league in three point shooting and coming in 15th in rebounding.

Whalen ran the point on the WNBA's highest scoring offense, and put up nearly six assists per game while ranking third on the team in scoring at 14.9 points per contest.

Lynx Guard Seimone Augustus also received accolades today, claiming a spot on the league's second team.

Minnesota tips off the Western Conference Finals Thursday night at 8 p.m. from the Target Center against the Phoenix Mercury, who are led by Diana Taurasi and 2013 No. 1 overall pick Brittney Griner, and eliminated the Sparks in round one of the WNBA playoffs with a 78-77 victory Monday night.
