Mound Westonka High School activities director Dion Koltes was placed on administrative leave at a "very contentious" school board meeting on Monday evening.

Koltes has been under fire after suspending six members of the school's varsity hockey team just hours before a section playoff game last week. The players were suspended for participating in making a "Harlem Shake" video in the cafeteria.

One of the suspended players told the Star Tribune that the video was sanctioned by the school.

The school board meeting was followed closely on Twitter by a @ChargerGameday.

Mound-Westonka lost its section playoff game to Blake High School the night the players were suspended. Mound was a heavy favorite as the No. 2 seed.

The players were originally suspended two days and fined $75 for participating in "riot-like behavior."
