Byron Buxton had one heck of a day Thursday. The 22-year-old outfielder was recalled from Triple-A Rochester in New York and he needed to get to Minneapolis to play in Thursday's Twins-White Sox game at Target Field.

As documented by Twins reporter Do-Hyoung Park, Buxton's day involved a flat tire, 3-mile walk, flight change, more car trouble and finally a 3-run home run.
