Not everyone loves sports or can recognize the most famous athletes in the world in normal street clothes. Houston TV reporter, John Donnelly, falls into that category.

Here I am interviewing people on the street and not realizing I'd stopped a celebrity. Enjoy the awkwardness!

Posted by John Donnelly FOX 26 on Wednesday, March 1, 2017

While preparing a package about traffic in Houston, Donnelly randomly approached a man for an opinion. That man just happened to be Adrian Peterson. The awkwardness at the end of the video is fantastic.

This is especially funny because Peterson was the talk of the NFL no less than 24 hours earlier when the Vikings announced they weren't picking up his contract for the 2017 season.
