Minnesota will once again have a strong showing at the NCAA Division I Men's Hockey Tournament.

The tournament field was announced Sunday morning on ESPNU. Here's a look:

The Mavericks, who have the highest win percentage in the nation, are the No. 1 overall seed going into the tournament.

Minnesota State will be heading to South Bend, Indiana, as the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region, playing No. 4 Rochester Institute of Technology at 4 p.m Saturday.

No. 2 Omaha and No. 3 Harvard are also playing in the Midwest Region.

Northeast Region: Gophers vs. Bulldogs

No. 2 University of Minnesota Duluth and No. 3 University of Minnesota will square off in the Northeast Region at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Manchester, New Hampshire.

“We’re excited to once again be competing for a national championship, and I’m proud of the way our guys stepped up to earn a bid this year,” Minnesota head coach Don Lucia said in a news release Sunday. “We certainly have a great history and rivalry with Minnesota Duluth, and I’m sure we’ll see some exciting hockey this weekend.”

Filling out the Northeast Region is No. 1 Boston University and No. 4 Yale University.

West Region: No. 2 overall UND, No. 2 St. Cloud State

St. Cloud State and the University of North Dakota may end up battling it out for a trip to the Frozen Four.
