Iowa City will be rocking Saturday when two of the top teams in the country collide in a college football showdown.

The Iowa Hawkeyes, ranked No. 11 in the coaches poll takes on the five-time reigning FCS champion NDSU Bison.

"In the time I’ve been here, this is the most complete team the Bison will have faced," NDSU head coach Chris Klieman said Monday, via the Quad City Times.

NDSU has won five straight against teams from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), the league one level up from the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) that the Bison play in.

"Every position, both sides of the ball – those guys hit," Iowa defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson said of NDSU to the Des Moines Register. "They hit really good."

Iowa is 2-0 after pounding Miami of Ohio and Iowa State to submission with a punishing ground game, averaging 205 yards per game. NDSU is 2-0 after a pair of overtime wins over FCS Top 10 teams Charleston Southern and Eastern Washington.

Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz, while speaking on a conference call this week, said it's stunning that NDSU won a national championship last year despite not having the No. 2 pick in the NFL Draft (Carson Wentz) for most of the season.

"To me, most impressive, is to win five straight championships. I don’t care who you are, where you are, what decade, that’s impressive," Ferentz said, according to the Fargo Forum. "Then you start thinking about four playoff games a year, where it’s win or go home, and they’re 20 in a row in that regard. It’s kind of mind-boggling, quite frankly."

Saturday's game kicks off at 11 a.m. on ESPN2.
