If the experts are correct, it's going to be a big blowout in the Big House on Saturday.

The current line in Las Vegas has the Gophers a 20-point underdog in their game at Michigan this weekend.

Minnesota starting quarterback Philip Nelson hopes to play better than he did in last week's loss to Iowa.

"I can't be taking sacks, especially when we're getting closer to the red zone and may be in field-goal range," Nelson explained to the Pioneer Press. "That's definitely something that (Gophers coach Jerry Kill) kind of said to me, 'You got to just learn from that, move on and not let that happen again.' So that's a valuable lesson I learned last Saturday."

The Wolverines, although very talented, nearly lost to the Akron Zips a couple of weeks ago -- so they're not invincible.

Michigan QB Devin Gardner has thrown eight interceptions through four games this season, three of which came against Akron. As FOX Sports North points out, the Gophers will be trying to force more turnovers agaisnt Gardner.

A healthy duo of Brock Vereen and Derrick Wells could help the secondary force turnovers. The two starters were banged up in the loss to Iowa, but both are probable to play this week, according to the Star Tribune.

The last time Minnesota played at Michigan, they were demolished, 58-0.
