Goodbye, Oakland. Hello, Sin City.

NFL owners approved the relocation of the Raiders from Oakland to Las Vegas with a near unanimous vote Monday. Thirty-one owners voted in favor of the move. The only team to vote against it was the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the Raiders needed at least 24 votes to get the move approved.

Raiders owner Mark Davis says his team will remain in Oakland for at least the 2017 and 2018 seasons while the wait for a new, $1.9 billion stadium to open in Las Vegas in 2020. His goal is to play in Oakland for the 2019 season, too.

“The Raiders were born in Oakland and Oakland will always be part of our DNA," Davis said in a statement. "We know that some fans will be disappointed and even angry, but we hope that they do not direct that frustration to the players, coaches and staff. We plan to play at the Coliseum in 2017 and 2018, and hope to stay there as the Oakland Raiders until the new stadium opens. We would love nothing more than to bring a championship back to the Bay Area.”

The Raiders join the Chargers and Rams as teams to relocate since the end of last season. Both the Chargers and Rams moved to Los Angeles.
