ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Seattle Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL for insider trading.
Kendricks is the older brother of Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks, and he appeared to be close to signing with the Vikings when he made a free-agent visit to Minnesota over the summer. He wound up signing with the Cleveland Browns but was cut following an indictment for insider trading during the preseason.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the former Eagle admitted in September to trading money, tickets to NFL games and access to exclusive parties in exchange for stock tips from insiders.
Kendricks recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks, where his future is now in doubt.
