Minnesota Wild 4

New Jersey Devils 7

The Minnesota Wild did not make any improvement in their record against Eastern Conference teams Thursday night. They were beaten up by the New Jersey Devils 7-4 in New Jersey.

1. Wild surrender season high in goals

The seven goals allowed are a single-game high by the Wild this season. Neither Devan Dubnyk nor Darcy Kuemper seemed to have the answer.

Dubnyk gave up three goals on eight shots.

Kuemper wasn't much better, he surrendered four goals on just 17. Kuemper was charged with the loss.

2. Multiple Devils light the lamp twice

The Devils are the lowest scoring team in the NHL and have been struggling with injuries and inconsistent play recently. That wasn't the case Thursday.

Three different Devils – Devante Smith-Pelly, Mike Sislo and Adam Henrique – all had a pair of goals.

3. Suter sets franchise record with assist

There weren't a lot of positives for the Wild, but one was Ryan Suter's 38th assist of the season. Suter assisted on Jared Spurgeon's second period goal.
