Packers fans excited to get Aaron Rodgers back after the future Hall of Fame quarterback broke his collarbone against the Vikings last season will also be glad to know that his ex-girlfriend is standing up for him in public.

Rodgers and actress Olivia Munn split up more than a year ago, with Munn rumored to be the cause of some drama between Rodgers and his family – a subject that Rodgers has been pestered about by media for the last year and a half despite his request for privacy.

But Munn put an end to those rumors during an interview with Andy Cohen, saying Rodgers stopped talking to his parents and one of his brothers about eight months before they started dating in 2014.

"I met one brother, the one who was on the The Bachelorette," Munn said. "I was friendly with Jordan [Rodgers]. I met the parents only a couple of times. Before he and I started dating, he hadn't spoken to the parents and one brother for like eight months."

Munn said she encouraged Rodgers to have an honest conversation with his family, which he did, only to have it backfire.

"His father played football and he's a sports chiropractor. They're all into sports, and Aaron is one of the best, if not the best quarterback to ever play the game," she said.

"Their work has a direct connection to what he does. At the end of the day there's a lot of complications, I don't think either side of the road is clean. But it's not ok when you try to stand on someone's shoulders and then throw dirt in their face, which is what I think they did with him."

Munn says she's no longer in contact with Rodgers, who is now in a relationship with Danica Patrick.

According to the New York Post, Patrick and Rodgers have nicknamed each other "Chicago and Green Bay." It turns out that Patrick is a big fan of the Chicago Bears.
