'Blade runner' Olympian Oscar Pistorius charged with murder

Paralympic superstar Oscar Pistorius was charged Thursday with the murder of his girlfriend, according to the Associated Press.

Police in South Africa say model Reeva Steenkamp was shot four times inside his home. An initial court hearing is scheduled for Friday, according to reports.

Pistorius, 26, made history at the London Games last year by being the first double-amputee to compete at the Olympics.
